FACTAGE conference with special issue of the German Review of Social Policy: Socio-Economic Dimensions in Extended Working Lives
Exploring emerging inequalities associated with longer working lives.
A Joint Programming Initiative - More Years Better Lives (MYBL) - project.
Population ageing challenges the way welfare states are organised.
The FACTAGE project starts from the premise that there is substantial scope for increasing the length of average working lives and active ageing. However, careful attention must be paid to the issue of equality concerning the elderly, not least prospectively.
Key research questions center around the impact of longer working lives on inequalities related to:
• the labour market
• (healthy) live expectancies
• subjective well-being
Which policies can best promote fairness within and between generations?
FACTAGE has a strong focus on broad stakeholder outreach and encourage interested individuals, organisations and companies to get in touch to explore ways to share ideas and facilitate mutual learning.
This can be done in many ways. Start by signing up to our email list.
As the project progresses, results will be disseminated as research papers, policy brief, infographics and more.
